A youth group led by Mr. Francis Kooli (Sub county commander Kakamega Central) held a peace walk through MCSK (Music Copyright Society of Kenya) and Peace Ambassadors of Kenya (PAK). PAK is a National youth peace initiative which engages youths (majorly in universities & colleges) in peace initiatives and community based activities with the goal of disseminating vital information on the need for peace in the community, country and world at large. Currently PAK Institutional Chapters exists in over 30 institutions of higher learning across the country committed to the national peace agenda. Every year, PAK holds a series of activities aimed at giving back to the community and spreading the message of peace as we gear towards peace Day.

Diamond and Yemi with MCSK
Multiple award-winning Tanzanian singer Diamond Platinumz and Nigeria’s Johnny hit maker Yemi Alade registered with Music Copyright Society of Kenya (MCSK) last week. Diamond, happens to be MCSK’s highest paid loyalties earner from outside Kenya in the just concluded financial year. Besides meeting Nigerian showbiz wiz Ike, who was also hosting Yemi and Diamond, the Number One singer had a private meeting with the MCSK CEO Maurice Okoth, who handed him hefty loyalties cash besides sealing a deal to have him grace the KTN sponsored MCSK Awards next month.
